Love it. It’s perfect. Everything you could ever want in a celica. When I was looking at getting a new project, there was a ‘77 up for sale locally. It was a little out of my price range, I should have tried harder to get it, but I ended up with my 71 crown instead. I’ve always like the early celicas too, the notch back is better looking than the fast back IMO. The front end looks so similar to my 620, that’s the other reason I want one. They’d look good sitting beside each other in my drive way lol.

Thanks. I would love to have a late 60’s Crown myself. Make it into a clean cruiser.
In highschool, many of my friends had 620’s, so I’m very familiar with those too.
Great cars. My dream is to be able to open my garage and have my Celica and
a 510 sitting there. I’m 50% there! :)

The ride looks great. WHats the point of having an old skool sports car if you can’t make it go as good as the market can provide? Thats what I say. Spent ages mucking around with older cars and in the end I thought, I want the style but modern power, so I too am going that route as you have. No other way to live the dream.

sweet celica! IMHO, you just need two minor modifications..

1. Ditch the s2000 cluster and integrate the Digi Dash from the supra
2. throw a 1J in it. ; ]
